BC’s the Theme, BC Wine Lover will be there!

Upcoming Events for Vancouver Playhouse Wine Festival feature some of British Columbia's best

BC Wine Lover is very excited to be participating in the 2009 Vancouver Playhouse Wine Festival this year!

We are planning to attend as many British Columbia regional events as possible as BC is this year's "theme region," and the Pinot grape is the Global Focus.

Our festival tour includes the BC kickoff event, A Great Big Kitchen Party for a Great Little Wine Region, held at Inform Interiors in Gastown (notes to follow on this event). Rob Feenie, Exective Chef of the Cactus Club, will be there to celebrate BC wines with a selection of tapas-style food to complement the many BC wines being offered.

Keep an eye out for BC Wine Lover's daily updates!  Here are the events we are looking forward to attending:

Wines of BC: Our Land, Revealed  – What makes BC wines taste the way they do?  A discussion featuring David Scholefield and a selection of BC’s top winemakers and trailblazing proprietors.  Anthony Gismondi will moderate, and Scott Fraser, Chair of the British Columbia Wine Institute will introduce the event.
