Wine writer Anthony Gismondi breaks it down with Sophie Lui on GlobalTV BC. I like his first advice…be the grape. Enjoy the surroundings, get to know the terroir where these wonderful BC wines are produced.
Pick a good starting point. He recommends Penticton, which gives you access to wineries to the north (Summerland, Westbank, Kelowna), or to the south (Skaha Bench, OK Falls, Oliver, Golden Mile and Black Sage Benches). We recommend finding an accommodation in Naramata if possible, as it brings you close to at least a dozen very fine wineries, and the surroundings are spectacular.
