Hawthorne Mountain Vineyard

Located up on the hill just outside of Okanagan Falls, BC, this is one of our favourite places to do some sipping and have some lunch. We make a specific plan to do the trip (from either Osoyoos or Naramata, depending on where we are) to savour the wines and food that make it great.

The hospitality is also exceptional, and every time we have bought four or five bottles of vino to take away. We always come back, and suggest this would be a great place for ambiance, view, food and especially the wines.

Just as an aside, when we visited in 2006, we were more impressed with the Hawthorne Mountain label wines than the specialized See Ya Later varieties. We're not saying that the SYL's were not good, just that we like the HM better for last year.
