Dinner at Goldfish Pacific Kitchen

Went out for a bite to eat at Goldfish Pacific Kitchen where a friend of ours was celebrating a birthday. The restaurant has nice bar/lounge area, a large indoor seating area, a large outdoor seating area and even rooms for more private dining with a larger party. The place was huge!

I was early, so decided to start with a glass of Gehringer Brothers 'Reserve' Pinot Gris 2006. It was a decent wine, but seemed to lack a definitive something…

Our second selection was the Inniskillin Pinot Noir 2005. The restaurant brought us the 2006, so we had that instead (didn't have any more of the 2005). Another hit for Inniskillin, it went very well with the sweet potato and pork curry and wok seared beef that Mike and I shared. Yum.

We ended the evening off by sharing a glass of Jackson Triggs 'Proprietors Edition' Cabernet Sauvignon (2005). I thought it was a decent wine to finish with.
The best part of dinner was that the wine was enjoyed with our friends, and much fun was had by all!
