Water to Wine

We attended the South Vancouver Rotary Club's Water to Wine event, which was held at The Butler Did It catering company. There was a fairly extensive selection of wines to try, and some delicious appetizers to go with them!

The wines we tried included Wild Goose Winery's 2006 Pinot Gris, Lake Breeze Vineyards' 2006 Pinot Gris, Thornhaven Estates Winery's 2006 Rose, Hester Creek Estate Winery's 2005 Merlot and 2005 Cabernet Franc.

The outstanding selection was provided thanks to Peacock & Martin Wine Merchants, who did an excellent job of pouring the tastings the entire evening without a break! There were also wines offered as door prizes, and a silent auction.

Thanks to the South Vancouver Rotary Club for organizing this event, and for their assistance in raising funds for a great cause.
