Hillside Estate Hidden Valley Rosé 2006

Hillside Estate Hidden Valley Rosé 2006Sometimes a picture can say so much more than words, and this shot taken at our patio table in the backyard really sums up this beautiful Rosé. I often struggle with Rosés, not knowing if they're pretending to be reds or whites. This wine from Naramata's Hillside Estate practically taunts you to not like it.

There are strawberry and rhubarb notes, and just a hint of spice. Most of all it has a lovely, flavourful finish. I don't think I've enjoyed a Rosé more in recent memory, but who would dare to drink Rosé during the winter?

Definitely pick this one up.
