BC Wineries Now on Twitter

I wasn't sure if I would buy into Twitter, but I like it. It's a simple way to communicate with people or businesses. You can get the scoop on the latest news updates, and post interesting tidbits of information about yourself.  You are also able to respond directly to a post. If you are already on Twitter, why not follow BCWineLover and send us a message!

Some BC wineries are beginning to embrace this new way of promotion. BC Wine Lover has been following Stoneboat Vineyards, Prospect Winery, Road 13 Vineyards and Tinhorn Creek Vineyards on Twitter. I can even set up my cell phone to receive mobile text messages so I will know when an update is posted for my favourite "Tweets" (currently this service is only availabe for Bell customers).  Now I can be in the know for which grapes are being picked, what wine is ready for bottling, or the date of a new release!

I'm sure we will see more BC wineries catching the Twitter bug.
