Village VQA Wine Tastings for October 24, 2009

Check out this Saturday's weekly wine tastings from  Village VQA Wines.

The Dunbar location will feature tastings from Church & State Wines. Wines being poured will be Pinot Gris 2008, Cabernet Blanc 2008, Merlot 2007 and Syrah Coyote Bowl 2007. Tastings are between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM.

Gray Monk Estate Winery is the featured winery this weekend at the Kitsilano location. Look for tastings of Gray Monk's Pinot Gris 2008, Chardonnay Unwooded 2008 and Odyssey Merlot 2006. Tastings are between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM.

The Edgemont location will feature a sampling of winning wines at the 2009 Okanagan Fall Wine Festival! Featuring tastings include Artisan Wine Co.'s Rigamarole White 2007 (winner of a silver medal), Cedar Creek Estate Winery's Reisling 2008 (winner of Best White Wine award), and Sandhill Vineyards' Gamay Noir 2007 and Road 13 Winery's Merlot 2007, both gold medal winners. Tastings are between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM.
