2012 Bloom VQA event

Some images from our time at the annual “Bloom” showcase, this time held for the spring 2012 releases. We spoke with many of our BC wine producer friends as they proudly poured their newest vintages. One of the highlights this year was to taste through selections from Kraze Legz Vineyard and Winery.

Proprietors Sue and Gerry Thygesen had the following labels out for pouring:

  • The Lindy Hop 2011 White Blend
  • The Cakewalk 2010 Merlot
  • All That Jazz  2010 Red Blend
  • Whisper Sister 2011 Semi-Sweet Chardonnay (unoaked).

We cannot wait to get back up to their winery in Kaleden, BC, on the west shore of Skaha Lake.

See our friend Karl “MyWinePal” for his extensive tasting notes from Bloom 2012.
