Gehringer Brothers Private Reserve Pinot Gris 2011

Award-winning Gehringer Brothers shine using BC's most popular white varietal

The warm weather has been in limited supply, but we can try to remember the Saturday before last in Vancouver. Warm, clear skies and no need to reach for a blanket.

Our pal Pete prepared a lovely ceviche which we brought out after nibbling on some cheeses. Out came Gehringer Brothers Private Reserve Pinot Gris 2011 to go with his cool dish with chunks of calamari. The wine had citrus on the nose, with balanced acidity. It turned out to be the dream pairing with the ceviche! The flavours of the wine and the appetizer complemented each other perfectly.

The next warm west coast evening, put a bottle of this fine BC Pinot Gris in the fridge to chill. At under $18 it's a well-priced treat that will build your excitement for BC's Pinot Gris wines. We also love their clean new label design and Stelvin screw cap bottle.
